This is going to be my first non-official post for the website and I just want to introduce myself and the site properly but you can read about me in here.
This website started in the mind of someone else, and, after encouraging me to write on it, I finally decided to give a kick on it.
I’ll write about a lot of things involving music but this post is not about that; this one is about gratitude and about the people in our lives that inspire us to be better versions of ourselves and that makes us want to change the world around us – and sometimes we want to change the entire world for them, as well.
I am quite sure I can say I have at least two of those people in my life and then I have a few friends that I’m gonna carry with me for the rest of my life. And I am grateful to say they are really just a few but they are the people who I am sure I can count on.
Thank you to all of you who’ve been with me for years, helping me be a better person, directly or indirectly; thanks for the love, the caring, the support and the shoulders when I need one.
A bigger thank you to God, who’s been watching over me since the moment mom and dad got together to make me!
Life hasn’t always been easy but every day is a lesson learned and I am somehow coming out of the battles stronger and sometimes wiser – sometimes life has to hit me twice at the same spot so I wake up and learn.
I am grateful as well for all of those who’ve been in my life for a period of time but aren’t anymore for a reason or another: I’ve learned with and thru you – and it doesn’t matter if your passing was good or bad, I still learned something.
I am grateful for music who keeps me steady, grounded and help me express my emotions better than anything else in this world.
More than anything else, I am grateful for my babies, who give me faith, hope, who support me thru thick and thin, who give me strength to carry on, who put smiles on my face and tears to my eyes – sometimes both at the same time!, and show me that life is not always perfect but the perfect life is within reach if you know how to appreciate what you have and those you have: and I have you!
Last but not least, I am grateful to you, who is reading me: thanks for the support and for starting this journey with me. I hope you enjoy it.
See you next time,
